2-D Geometry > Draw > Freehand line > Spline, Edit...
The functions of this menu enable you to edit smoothed polylines, so-called splines.
In addition, you can combine or split several polylines. If a spline is converted into a polyline, you can identify and process it.

This function enables you to mark the polyline of a spline. If you use the View All function, you will only see the spline on the screen. Once you have identified the polyline, it is marked. At the same time, the individual points of the polyline are marked with small squares. |
This function enables you to insert additional points into a polyline. All point options are available for specifying the points. |
This function enables you to move individual points in the polyline. Identify the point to be moved, and specify the target point. The spline is automatically changed. |
This function deletes a point from the polyline. The local behaviour of the smoothed curve is strongly influenced by deletion of individual points. |
This function inserts interruption points in polylines. The individual segments are then smoothed separately. This allows you to insert corners (discontinuity points) into the smoothed curve arc. |
This function removes an interruption of a polyline and re-connects the segments to one another. Any two segments that have the same end point or start point can be connected if they are located within the active part. However, they cannot belong to different sub-parts. |
This function divides a spline into polylines. You cannot use point options to identify and process splines. However, if you convert the spline into a polyline, you can use the point options to identify and modify it. |
This function enables you to delete the spline of the active part. The polyline is diplayed. You can also delete a spline code by assigning another spline code. This deletes the previous spline code. |
