2-D Geometry > CAids > Grid > Grid, Relative

The Relative grid function enables you to create an auxiliary line grid.

1. Set the reference point for the grid and specify the distance in x-direction.
2. Confirm the entry by pressing RETURN or left-clicking.

You can use RETURN to insert as many auxiliary lines as you need. Right-click to switch to entering the y-distance.

3. Specify the distance in y-direction and now press RETURN to insert the horizontal auxiliary lines.

Right-click to return to the selection.

You use the Absolute grid function to enter the values for x and y absolutely to the reference point for each auxiliary line.
