Collision Check (HCM 3-D)

3-D Standard > HCM > Tools. > Collision check

This function allows you to perform a collision check during dragging. There are various default settings for minimizing the computation times.

Choose the desired default setting for the collision check by activating the relevant option field.

• No check: Default setting.
• Check two parts: Two identified parts are checked for collisions.
• Check part structure: The entire activated branch is checked for collisions.
• Check drawing: The entire drawing is checked for collisions.

Next, start the Dragger function.

The collision check is then performed at every intermediate step. If a collision is found, it is highlighted and the appropriate window opens. Choose one of the options:

• Continue simulation: Simulation and search for more collisions are continued.
• Cancel simulation: Simulation and collision check are cancelled and the current position adopted.
• Return to original position: Simulation and collision check are aborted and the initial situation restored.
