Preset Attribute Values in Masks for New Items (PDM in HiCAD)

The attribute values for various masks of the HELiOS functions in HiCAD are preset in the following files:


Configuration Editor

During a part-oriented working you assign to parts and drawings an article master. In the process, you typically load drawings with links.In contrast, if you work exclusively in a document-oriented way, you can deactivate the suggested links permanently. To do this, open the Configuration Editor (ISDConfigEditor.exe) and select ... > System settings > HELiOS and set the parameter Use HELiOS/HiCAD Default Solution to 0. The default setting is 1.
