Local Session
The Local session dialogue window consists of three areas:
- Local session: Here you can see the logged on user, the name of the system, and the path of the local session directory. The Select directory button may be greyed out, since it is not possible to switch to the session directory during working in an active AutoCAD drawing. This can also be set via the HELiOS Desktop (via HELiOS Options > Database > AUTOCAD > Local session).
- Close application: If the Remove documents from session checkbox has been activated, the session directory will be cleared when you end the session (i.e. close AutoCAD). Documents that are being edited will be preserved. Otherwise, all files that have ever been loaded will remain in the session directory and must be removed manually.
- Update: Here you can determine, by activating or deactivating of checkboxes, whether the most recent version of a called document is to be loaded automatically from the database, or whether you want a query to be displayed before loading. Please note: Once a document has been released, referenced components will no longer be updated automatically, but the released state will be kept.
At the bottom left of the window you can find the General configuration button: Here you can define initialisation values (see below), if you have administrator rights. Otherwise, you will simply be shown the already assigned initialisation values.
