Proxy

You can define a proxy for every user in EDBSETUP (EDBSETUP.exe file in the HICAD\exe directory and activate, respectively deactivate the proxy if required.

Click the icon at the top left of your HELiOS Desktop to choose one of the options described below: 

Act as proxy
Activate/deactivate yourself as proxy

This function enables you to activate/deactivate yourself, depending on the current situation, when you have been entered as a proxy for a user.

1. Activating this function starts the EDBSETUP program and open the Manage proxies window.
2. Select the user on whose behalf you want to act.

The EDBSETUP program will be closed and the HELiOS Desktop will be active again.

Appoint proxy
Activate/deactivate proxy

Use this function to activate/deactivate your proxy, depending on the current situation.

1. Activating this function starts the EDBSETUP program and open the Manage proxies window.
2. Select the proxy.
3. Confirm the selection by clicking the Activate proxy, respectively Deactivate proxy button.
