These functions can be found in the context menu of a result item in the pipe class search mask and in the Ribbon bar of a pipe class detail window.

Show pipe class |
Activate the Mask tab to display the parameter of the pipe class. If you want to display the corresponding Article assignments, activate the same-named tab. |

Edit pipe class |
Use this function to edit the master data of the marked pipe class. Editable text fields are white. It is not possible to switch to a detail window during editing, to ensure an error-free applying of the changes. As soon as you complete the modifications with OK, the data will be transferred to the database, and all windows and lists will be updated. |

Edit attribute values |
Selecting this menu item opens the dialogue for the editing of the attribute values. Select an attribute from the list and select Edit (or double-click on the attribute) to change the value as required. |
Assignments |

When you call this function, the Article assignments tab will be displayed. The articles contained in the pipe class are listed here. In the context menu you will find functions for the editing and processing of the currently marked article. The Remove assignment to pipe class function can only be found there. This function just removes the assignment of an article to a pipe class, but does not delete any objects. |

Assign article |
Opens the search mask for articles. Mark one or several articles and click Apply to assign the article(s) to the active pipe class. You can repeat this action as often as you like. When you have finished, click OK to close the window. Please note:

Assign preselected object to pipe class |
Assigns an object that has been put on the clipboard via the Preselect article function to the pipe class. |

Derive pipe class |
Use this function to derive, and then edit an active pipe class. This can be useful if you want to create a similar pipe class, thus saving some entries. Enter the modifications and save the new pipe class with a different name. Confirm with OK. |

Copy HELiOS URL |
Copies the URL of the HELiOS pipe class to the clipboard, to enable its pasting to another location. |

Show ID |
Shows you the Head ID and the Rev ID of the HELiOS object. |
Edit |
||
|
Delete |
Use this function to delete the pipe class. A security prompt will be shown before the pipe class will be deleted. You can also use the DEL key to delete. |
