Collision Check (HCM 3-D)

3-D Standard > HCM > Tools. > Collision check

This function allows you to perform a collision check during dragging. There are various default settings for minimizing the computation times.

Choose the desired default setting for the collision check by activating the relevant option field.

No check: Default setting.
Check two parts: Two identified parts are checked for collisions.
Check part structure: The entire activated branch is checked for collisions.
Check drawing: The entire drawing is checked for collisions.

Next, start the Dragger function.

The collision check is then performed at every intermediate step. If a collision is found, it is highlighted and the appropriate window opens. Choose one of the options:

Continue simulation: Simulation and search for more collisions are continued.
Cancel simulation: Simulation and collision check are cancelled and the current position adopted.
Return to original position: Simulation and collision check are aborted and the initial situation restored.
