Undo and Redo

Drawing > Undo, Redo

The Undo function reverses the last command. The Redo function can be used to restore the command that was previously reversed.

Both functions can be accessed via Drawing > Delete.

Please note:

If you want to temporarily switch off the Undo function in 3-D, select Drawing > Others > Extras > Temporary settings >3-D Undo ON/OFF .
In 3-D, you can chose between drawing- and part-related undo. "Part-related" is the default setting. You can change the setting in the file ALG3DPAR.DAT in the HiCAD SYS directory.
The maximum number of 2-D undo steps can be changed in the Configuration Editor (ISDConfigEditor.exe). Select ... > System settings > Data save and set the parameter Number of drawing memory UNDOs accordingly. Default setting is 11.

The setting for the 2-D undo memory limit can also be changed in the Configuration Editor (ISDConfigEditor.exe). Select ... > System settings > Data save and set the parameter 2-D UNDO memory limit accordingly. This setting also influences the number of possible UNDO steps in 3-D. In 64Bit versions, the corresponding entry in the file will therefore no longer be evaluated, but the permissible maximum value (maxINT) will automatically be used. In 32Bit versions, in contrast, the specified value will be used.
