The identified element determines the type of dimensioning

• Points > line dimensioning
• Lines > angle dimensioning
• Circles or arcs > circle dimensioning

The dimensioning for several point distances or angles is generated to the value of the first dimensioning. Here, too, dimensioning depends on the identified element.

• Points > chain dimensions for lines
• Lines > chain dimensions for angles

Parallel dimensioning is generated, depending on the identified element (points or lines).

• Points > parallel dimensions for lines
• Lines > parallel dimensions for angles

Running dimensions are chain dimensions with the same reference point. The dimension figures refer to this point. Here, too, dimensioning depends on the identified element.
