Settings: Part Annotations (3-D SE)

Steel Engineering > Further functions > Settings > Part annotations

You use this function to define the settings for part annotation in the workshop drawings

The settings are made separately for the various steel engineering objects:

Beams + Profiles
Plates
Sheets
General parts
Sub-parts
Boltings
Steel Enginering Standard Parts
Bores/Threads
Assemblies of the type "Workshop" with a beam/profile as assembly main part
Assemblies of the type "Workshop" with a plate as assembly main part
Assemblies of the type "Fitting" with a beam/profile as assembly main part
Assemblies of the type "Fitting" with a plate as assembly main part

First, select the object type and then define the desired annotation settings. The Annotation settings window is operated in the same way as the Settings, Change function available via 3-D Dimensioning + Text > Text > Leader > Settings, Change).

The HiCAD SYS directory provides various FTD files with predefined annotations – also for steel engineering. To use one of these files, click the Load button in the Annotation settings dialogue window and then select the desired file.
