The Itemisation Dialogue Window (3-D STE)

The Itemisation dialogue window is displayed which enables you to set and change the itemisation parameters.

The window can divided into the following areas:

(1)	Item number, Start value, Sorting, Referencing
(2)	Selection of the parts to be itemised, setting of Filters
(3)	Settings for Itemisation and Identical Part Search

Notes:

The system file STB_PARAMETER.DAT determines whether the list box in the bottom right of the dialogue window is active. This list box contains the option:

also mark existing item numbers as changed when changing components (0 = no, 1 = yes:
1)

If this entry is set to 1 (yes), the item number is assigned a negative sign when processing already itemised parts. In this case, the above-mentioned list box enables you to choose whether you want only new and changed steel engineering parts to be itemised or all parts to be itemised (again). This means that you can perform itemising specifically for changed parts (with negative item number).

The part attributes used in HiCAD are centrally managed in the catalogue table "System settings - System attributes". This is also taken into account for itemisation and identical part search, namely for sorting, filtering and configuration of the attributes to be respected for identical part search.
