Show 3-D Part (P+ID)

P+ID > Link to 3-D > Show 3-D part

If you have opened the 3-D layout plan belonging to the current P+ID project in another window for editing, and switch from the 3-D layout plan to the P+ID, you can use this function to show the part that has been assigned to the selected P+ID symbol.

Use the crosshairs to select the symbol whose assigned part you want to be shown.

HiCAD now automatically switches to the window of the layout plan.The corresponding part will be highlighted.

At the same time, a dialogue window with the Cancel and Back buttons will be displayed.

Select Cancel, if you initially do not want to switch back to the P+ID. Select Back to switch back to the P+ID. The P+ID symbol that was selected there will still be highlighted.

If you select a pipeline symbol in the P+ID, you will be shown all parts in the layout plan that belong to this pipeline (instead of one, individual part).
