Rename Symbol (P+ID)

P+ID Library > Symbol > Rename symbol

Use this function to change the name of a symbol belonging to the currently open library.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Select the symbol with the cross-hairs or press the right mouse button and select the symbol by name.
  2. Specify a new name for the symbol.
  3. You can either re-name the next symbol or press the middle mouse button.
