If a 3-D layout plan belonging to a P+ID has already been loaded in another HiCAD window when you invoke this function, HiCAD switches to it and activates HiCAD Plant Engineering.
If a layout plan has been assigned to a P+ID, but is not displayed in a window, HiCAD automatically
- finds a free window
- loads the appropriate layout plan
- activates HiCAD’s Plant Engineering module.
If you have also opened the 3-D layout plan assigned to the P+ID, you can use this function to show the part that belongs to the selected P+ID symbol.

Use this function to check whether the symbols of the P+ID have a corresponding, assigned part in the layout plan.
If the assignment is faulty or the assigned layout plan no longer exists, you can remove the link unilaterally from the P+ID project. Caution: This function should only be invoked in exceptional cases.
