A central setting can be made for both feature generation and referencing when generating parts.
The FeatureState setting in FEATURE.DAT in the HiCAD SYS directory can be used to define whether or not to create a feature during part creation. The following settings are possible:

No feature is created. |

1 |
Creation of the features can be activated/deactivated in the dialogue (default). |

2 |
A feature is always created. |
# 0 = All parts without feature, 1 = Individually configurable, 2 = All parts with feature, FeatureState: 1
If the value is set to 0 or 2, the corresponding checkboxes in the dialogue windows of part generation are inactive.
