Coating (3-D SM)

The Coating function enables you to define text, colour and type of coatings (one-side, two-sides, only edge) for sheet metal main part.

The coating type and coating annotation (text) is taken over into the part attributes and can thus also be displayed in BOMs.

The following coating types are available:

One-sided: The coating will only be applied to the selected side of the sheet.
One-sided, with edge: The coating will be applied to the selected side and the edge of the sheet.
Two-sided: The coating will be applied to both sides of the sheet.
Two-sided, with edge: The coating will be applied to both sides and the edge of the sheet.
Only edge: The coating will only be applied to the edge of the sheet.

If you are working in shaded mode, the coating will be displayed in the selected colour.

Right-click the sheet metal main part and select Properties > Part attributes to display the part attributes.
