Bend Zone (3-D SM)

Sheet Metal > Bend zone

The Bend zone function group on the Sheet Metal tab provides functions for the processing of bend zones.

Right-click a sheet to activate a context menu containing the bend zone functions. You will then no longer be prompted to make an identification.

Bend zone
	New, with shortening of connecting sheet
Pull-down menu Shorten
	New, between 2 points, with shortening of connecting sheet

	New, with incision on connecting sheet

In HICAD, bend zones can be displayed with or without segmentation. To display the , change the following entry in the SYS/ABWPAR.DAT file as shown below:

Restart HiCAD for the changes to take effect. New bend zones will then be displayed with segmentation.
