Properties and Preview

If the structural display of the ICN is active, i.e. if a part is selected there, the Properties tab displays attributes and other information in respect of the active/selected part. The Graphic preview displays a preview of the active/selected part.

Displayed attributes and properties of parts include part name and part type, colour, layer and material, the generating module as well as the BOM-relevance and the item number. In addition, further attributes are displayed, with a distinction being made between

Identification H, HiCAD attributes, e.g. H_Sachnummer
Identification T, HELiOS part master attributes, e.g. T_Sachnummer
Identification D, HELiOS document master attributes, e.g. D_Dokumentnr.

You should bear the following in mind:

The settings in the system files BRW_3DTEILATTR.HDB or BRW_3DDBATTR.HDB determine which attributes are displayed in the Properties window. Moreover, these files also define, via the EDIT="YES" parameter, whether each displayed attribute can be edited directly in the ICN or is locked. However, this applies only to the HiCAD attributes, database attributes being always locked. The ISD-side default settings have been selected to enable most HiCAD attributes to be directly edited. To change an attribute, left double-click the desired field in the Value column.

If a part has a master part and/or a document master, the following attributes are displayed in the ICN Properties:
