Zoom Functions

If the current screen display is too small or too big, you can change it using the mouse or the Zoom functions toolbar.
You can access the zoom functions via the transparent toolbar.

Function

Key

Show all parts
Displays all parts of the drawing, i.e. any hidden, inactive parts are shown again.

Right-clicking the icon makes the Show all views option available, that enables you to redisplay all temporary hidden views.

Show only active part
Hides all inactive parts of the drawing.
This function is, for example, effective when processing parts in complex drawings.

Right-clicking the icon makes the Show only active view option available, that enables you to temporarily hide all views except for the active view.

Redraw
Deletes the current screen display and then refreshes it.
This function is, for example, effective if intersecting or partly overlapping elements have been deleted, giving rise to gaps in the object contour.

If you are working with several windows, only the active window is redrawn!

Right-clicking the icon opens a context menu with functions enabling you to update and recalculate views.

DEL

View all
Specifies the smallest possible screen display which completely contains all parts of the drawing and displays this as large as possible.

HOME

Rectangular zoom window
Defines a rectangular screen display by specifying two points.

Use the right mouse button to activate a pop-up menu containing further zoom functions. You can also use the left mouse button to define the display. To do this, press and hold the left mouse button and drag the desired rectangle. Next, the area of the drawing lying within the rectangle is displayed as large as possible. By positioning the rectangle accordingly, you can also move the screen display here in one step.

END

The zoom functions take the current visualisation settings into account. This means that parts that have been hidden with the visualisation settings are not taken into account in the Show all parts and Show only active part functions.
