Object marking in graphic ON/OFF

If you move the mouse pointer over your drawing objects, each of the found parts (default: magenta) and its sub-parts (default: orange) is highlighted in colour. This display can be switched off and on (default).

Colour display

You use these functions to define the colour in which you want the parts of the drawing to be highlighted when you select them. This setting is used, for example, when you move the cursor over the objects in the drawing. The HiCAD standard setting is as follows:

All 2-D/3-D parts in edge /surface colour

The HiCAD standard setting is used for the colour display of 2-D and 3-D parts in your drawing, a previously selected colour display being reset.

Highlight active 2-D/3-D part

The active part is displayed in the colour assigned to it, all other parts in a less intensive colour.

2-D part structure in colour

The part structure is marked by different colours.

2-D overlap level in colour

Overlapped graphical elements are displayed in colour, other graphical elements in the default colour.

Bitmap representation

Defines whether Bitmap files and other pixel graphics lie in front of or behind the geometry.

Angle grid

Activates the 2-D Angle Grid

Deactivates the 2-D Angle Grid

Others

Applies the changes to the settings in the system file ALGPAR.DAT if it has been changed during the current HiCAD session.

Referenced 3-D parts are saved with the file name extension .KRA, and only in the directory predefined for referenced parts. The ISD-side default setting for this directory is the HiCAD subdirectory REFTEILE1, to which the short description L: is assigned in the system file FILEGRUP.DAT. This default setting can only be changed temporarily using this function.

Temporarily switches off the Undo function for 3-D models.
