Cursor and Object Snap

The intelligent cursor supports the automatic snap of drawing objects, namely always when HiCAD expects the identification of an object. This is marked in the status bar by means of the Select objects or Delete objects messages. Moreover, the cursor display changes. A small symbol at the top right of the cursor shows the mode of the cursor:

 Select function/Object,

 Delete object,

 Perform zoom functions.

If the cursor is moved over the drawing, an object is automatically highlighted in colour according to the current cursor position. The object that is selected also depends on the currently selected identification mode. One click with the right mouse button is sufficient to process highlighted objects, and the processing functions which are relevant to the selected object are displayed in a context menu.
