Plant Engineering > Isometry > Isometry Settings

This option enables you to specify the size and appearance of north arrows, down-grade symbols, flow-direction arrows, as well as symbols for heating, insulation and cooling.

Select the required symbol setting from the list box.

• North arrow
• Select a symbol from the HiCAD symbol table.
• Specify the size of the arrow.
• Specify the alignment of the arrow in the xy plane.
• Specify the text and the associated text parameters.
• Flow direction arrow
• Select a symbol from the HiCAD symbol table.
• Specify the size of the flow-direction arrow.
• Specify whether you want to create only one arrow per line.
• Down-grade symbol
• Select a symbol from the HiCAD symbol table.
• Specify the magnification factor and the offset from the centre line of the pipe.
• Specify the text and the associated text parameters.
• Symbols for heating/cooling and insulation
• Select a symbol from the HiCAD symbol table.
• Specify the magnification factor.
• Specify the text and the associated text parameter.

Select Default to assign default values to the Symbols tab.
