Check reference to P+ID symbols
If a link to a P+ID project exists, the 3-D parts in the layout plan contain assigned (invisible) references to the associated symbols in the P+ID. These references can be checked to see if they are valid. This action can either be carried out by selecting the Check reference to P+ID symbol function, or automatically.
This option enables you to specify when an automatic check should be executed:
when loading or saving the layout plan or
when you switch from the P+ID to the layout plan.

Handling of parts
You can also specify how checks should be carried out:
individually with confirmation, i.e. conformation for each individual part
all with confirmation, i.e. confirmation for all parts.
without confirmation, i.e. according to the setting specified for Type of handling, all parts are deleted or only the reference to them on the associated P+ID symbol is deleted.

Parts with references to associated P+ID symbols that have become invalid: either by because the symbol has been deleted from the P+ID or the symbol is not assigned to a part or is assigned to a different part.
