LISEGA - Vertical Clamp, Type 45 (PE)

Two Variants are supplied:

• LVS45_ALL.vaa
  This variant contains the records of all design forms.
• LVS45_0.vaa
  If you do not want to use LVS45_ALL.vaa, this file enables you to derive new variants of this type of clamp bases.

1. Start the Variant Editor.
2. Open the LVS45_0 vaA.file.
3. Enter a name for the new variant under Name.
4. Click Import.
5. In the Files of type field, select the Text files (.txt) option in the Open file window. 
6. Open the LVS45_ALL.txt file.
7. Select the Also enter new records option.
8. Click List to display all records. You can filter returns by selecting Find and specifying search criteria, e.g. for type designations or one of the variables. When you select OK, HiCAD returns the appropriately filtered list.

Type: as in the LISEGA catalogue, enhanced by a, additional digit as a running number for diverse diameter options according to column L

IDT: This identification is made up from positions 3 to 6 of LISEGA type designations and assigned to the database attribute TYPKENNUNG1 (Type Identification1) after variant synchronisation has been carried out.

IDX: This index corresponds to the last position of the value entered in the Type column. It is assigned to the database attribute TYPKENNUNG2 (Type Identification1) after a variant synchronisation has been carried out.

9. Select the required record from the list and click Import.
10. When you return to the main window of the Variant Editor, you can click List to check if the required record has been passed to the variant.
11. Click Save in the main window to save the newly created variant.
