The Part Tools function group contains the following functions for part processings:

Functions

This function offers a wide range of processing options for existing pipelines with assigned parts:

Exchange one part with another
Insert part in a straight pipe
Remove part from pipeline
Replace by different type of representation
Move part on the same guideline

Clicking opens a pull-down menu with further functions:

	Connect pipe		Delete connection
	Insert insulation		New point
	Delete insulation		New point number
	Display insulation		Delete point
	Insert connection		Symbol Editor
	Process connection

Rotate part

Rotate a part about an axis

Move+Rotate part

Move and rotate a part, i.e. change its position and alignment

Move points

Modify the layout of a pipeline

Fit nozzle in vessel

Contains options enabling you to insert nozzles in vessels existing in the active drawing. You can use straight pipes or elbows as nozzles.

Delete part

Deletes individual parts.

If you want to delete several parts, click below the icon and select.

Delete several parts

Deletes several parts within a pipeline in one step.

Many of the part processing functions can also be called via context menus which are displayed when right-clicking a part or a guideline. The content of the context menu depends on the selected object.
