Preview Mode (3-D)

When creating 3-D parts, you can usually display a preview by activating the Preview button. This enables you to check the part and, if required, correct it before final fitting. In this preview mode, you should bear the following in mind:

Updating the preview
If a preview of the solid primitive is displayed, it is only updated if there are changes to the values in the input field if you confirm the value input by pressing the ENTER/RETURN key.
Dynamic mode
Various functions, e.g. the creation of extruded solids, also allow you to use the cursor to specify the height dynamically, instead of entering a value. You activate this dynamic mode by left-clicking. Pay attention to the prompt in the dialogue line in each case.
Automatic view rotation
Model views can be automatically rotated in "Preview" mode. Automatic rotation is performed if the corresponding setting in the Novice Configuration is set to yes. This is the default setting.
