Offset (3-D)

3-DStandard > Process > Offset

Use this function to create an offset of the active part.

1. Enter the Wall thickness.
2. Specify whether you want to create the offset inside or outside. Activate under Orientation the required radio button.
3. Identify in the drawing the surfaces to be removed. All surfaces are shown in the Delete surfaces list box.
   
   
   
   If you want to undo the selection of a surface, right-click on the entry in the list and select Delete.
4. Click Preview if you want to see a preview of the offset. If you want to take over the offset as displayed, click Create .

Left: (1) Active cuboid, (2) to (7) Edges for surfaces to be removed
Right: Created offset
