Use this function to move individual graphical elements of the active sketch.
Moves individual graphical elements of the active sketch.

Move sketch, 2 points * |
Move Polyline, 2 points Moves an entire polyline of the active sketch by specification of a displacement vector. |
Move sketch, 2 points Moves the active sketch by specification of a displacement vector. |
Move sketch, in edge direction * |
Move individual GE, in edge direction Moves the selected element in the direction of an existing edge. Identify the edge for the direction and specify the displacement. By default, HiCAD offers the length of the identified edge. |
Move polyline, in edge direction Moves an entire polyline of the active sketch in edge direction. |
Move sketch, in edge direction Moves the active sketch in edge direction. |
Move sketch, Perpendicular Point -> Edge * |
Move individual GE, Perpendicular Point -> Edge Moves the selected graphical element. The direction of the displacement is determined by the perpendicular from a point on an existing edge.
Move polyline, Perpendicular Point -> Edge Moves a complete polyline of the active sketch. |
Move sketch, Perpendicular Point -> Edge Moves the active sketch. |
Move 3-D sketch ** |
Moves a 3-D sketch by specification of two points defining the displacement vector. |
Moves and rotates a 3-D sketch. |
C-edge, similarity transformation Performs a similarity transformation, i.e. the 3-D sketch is simultaneously moved, rotated and scaled. |
C-edge, planar affinity Creates a planar affine transformation of a composite edge, distorting the geometry in both directions. The function can be used effectively for placing cross-sections on three guidelines (see Freeform Surfaces). |
* only for planar sketches, ** only for 3-D sketches
The Clone functions work in the same way as the same-named Transform functions. When using the Clone functions, you need to additionally specify the number of copies ("clones"), including the original.
