Chamfer Sketch (3-D)

Sketch > Process > Chamfer

You use this function to chamfer corners of a polyline by specifying the length and the angle of the chamfer.

Enter the desired values and identify the edge. The specified chamfer length applies to the corner which lies nearest to the identification point.

You can then chamfer further corners with the same values.

Clicking opens a menu with further chamfer functions.

Chamfer

Chamfers all corners of a polyline with identical chamfer lengths.

Enter the chamfer length (on the nearest leg) and identify the edge of the polyline. You can then chamfer further corners with the same chamfer length.

Chamfers corners of a polyline by specifying 2 chamfer lengths.

Enter the two chamfer lengths, and identify the corner that you want to be chamfered. The first chamfer length applies to the corner which lies nearest to the identification point.

You can then chamfer further corners with the same values.
