Through Hole, Blind Hole, Slot (2-D)

This function enables you to insert various through holes, blind holes and slots.

After choosing the icon, you specify a hole group.

The corresponding parts are made available.

Select the relevant part.

On the screen, the hole is displayed graphically in side and top views and all definable parameters specified.

Specify the parameters you want, such as length, diameter etc.
Specify the view you want.
Then choose Insert.

In the pop-up menu, select the direction in which you want the part to be inserted into the drawing. The angle of direction is displayed by means of a blue arrow. However, you can also enter any angle you please.

Define the angle of direction.

The part is displayed at the cursor.

Identify a fitting point in the drawing.

After making the insertion, you can insert other parts without exiting the menu, or you can right-click to end the function.

To display the holes temporarily in the ICN, right-click the drawing name in the ICN and select the Auxiliary Parts On/Off in the displayed context menu.
