Points (2-D)

You can set points as auxiliary points during construction and as fitting for transforming and inserting. A point can also be used as a symbol reference point.

HiCAD has the following point-specific functions:

• New point (2-D Geometry > Tools),
• Point ID (2-D Geometry > Tools > Point ), and
• Move, points (2-D Geometry > Transform > Move ).

New point

2-D Geometry > Tools > New point

Points are represented by means of a small circle. They can be identified by means of point option J and belong to the active part.

Assemblies are marked by large isolated points for direct identification in the drawing. You can change the size of the points in LINPAR.DAT.
