New DB Drawing, Without Part Master (HICADPDM)

Use the New drawing (with database, without part master) function to create a new drawing without part master. You can assign a part master to the document subsequently. A document master of the drawing needs to be created for the management in the database.

When you select the function, the document specification (DOCUMENT ENTER) mask will be displayed. The grey fields will be filled in automatically, e.g. Date etc. The entries in the fields Article number and Designation will be shown in the Properties window of the ICN and in the Bill of Materials.

If you want to classify the document, activate the Classification button and assign a marked class to the document. The document will receive a new tab with the mask belonging to the selected class.

After completing all required entries, save with OK.

The Status in the database mask shows whether only a record or a record and a graphic are stored in the database. The status is generated by the system and is coded numerically:

0 = graphic is swapped out
1 = record, but no graphic
2 = record and graphic

Please note:

The pre-allocations of the values for document type and designation in the document specification (DOCUMENTENTER) mask can also be configured.
You can enter the document number manually or generate it automatically using the generation program (in the ...\EXE directory).
